The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Author Guidelines
Before submitting a manuscript to Buletin Antropologi: Media Komunikasi Jejaring Antropologi, authors are strongly encouraged to read this guideline thoroughly and ensure their manuscript is prepared according to the journal’s format and scope. Manuscripts not following the structure or format may be returned without review.
Make sure to read the entire guidelines and carefully prepare your manuscript using the provided template before submission. Please note that all manuscripts are subjected to a similarity check upon submission. The manuscript with a similarity score of more than 20% will be automatically rejected.

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that have not been published previously and are not under consideration by another journal.

6. Citation Requirements
Research articles should include:

7. Tables and Figures
Tables and figures should:
be numbered consecutively

be referenced in the text
Image resolution should be at least 300 dpi.
8. Ethical Standards
Authors must ensure that:
data are authentic
informed consent has been obtained when applicable
no plagiarism occurs
no fabricated or falsified data are presented
all authors have approved the submitted manuscript
Research involving human participants should comply with institutional ethical standards.
9. Similarity Policy
To maintain academic integrity, manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software before peer review.
The journal applies the following criteria:
Maximum overall similarity index: 20%
Similarity from a single source should generally not exceed 3%, excluding references, quotations, and standard methodological expressions.
Manuscripts exceeding the threshold may be returned to authors for revision or rejected at the editorial screening stage.
Authors are expected to paraphrase appropriately, cite all sources accurately, and avoid excessive textual overlap with previously published works, including their own publications (self-plagiarism).
10. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy
Artificial Intelligence tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot) may be used only to support language improvement, grammar checking, translation, or preliminary drafting.
Authors remain fully responsible for:
